Paving material EcoMix (granulated improved soil)

Recycling that loves the Earth. Certified product under the Aichi Prefecture Recycling Material Evaluation System.

This is an improved soil that has been recycled from the purified water generated and discarded during the process of producing drinking water at a water purification plant. It not only promotes the improvement of soil "mud" but also simultaneously achieves the opposing property of enhanced dust control. Ecolomix is an improved soil that realizes recycling and ecology, born from the needs of society.

Improved Soil "Uni-Soil" [Ideal for backfilling/embankment/subgrade, weed suppression]

Excellent compaction greater than that of soil (such as mountain sand) can be ensured! Safe and secure civil engineering materials regenerated from inorganic sludge such as construction sludge!

Improved soil/recycled soil "Uni-Soil" is a type of improved soil that stabilizes inorganic sludge generated from construction work and various projects into granulated form (granulation solidification) in a very short time using our unique method, the "Odessa System." 【Main Features】 ■ Excellent compaction beyond that of soil, with a cone index of 800 kN/m² or more (suitable for large vehicle traffic) ■ 100% recyclable as embankment, backfill material, subgrade material, and levee material ■ Does not revert to a muddy state due to rainfall (does not remudify) ■ Reliable stable quality, meeting all standard values of "environmental standards related to soil contamination" 【Quality Standards】 Ensures strength of at least Type 2 improved soil (cone index of 800 kN/m²) as specified in the "Construction Sludge Treatment Soil Utilization Technical Standards" by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. 【Hokkaido Certified Recycled Product】 Improved soil (recycled soil) "Uni-Soil" has been recognized by Hokkaido for meeting established standards, promoting the proper use of recycled resources and reducing waste, thereby contributing to the formation of a recycling society.

Nozaki Kogyo Co., Ltd. Business Introduction

We contribute to the realization of an eco-friendly circular society through "soil recycling."

Our company collects and transports construction sludge and inorganic sludge generated from construction sites, re-resources them, and manufactures and sells them as safe, secure, and high-quality improved soil. The highly stabilized treated improved soil is less prone to liquefaction and can be used for embankments and levees. It is registered as a "prefectural product" recommended by Saitama Prefecture as construction material (backfill material). In addition, to ensure appropriate quality, we conduct internal testing (including outsourcing) and testing by public institutions, striving to comply with standards and legal rules to improve quality. 【Products】 ■ Recycled embankment material: Treated improved soil ■ Recycled backfill material: Treated improved soil Eco-Recycle Soil (20mm) ■ Gardening soil: Eco Granular Black Soil ■ Turf soil: Eco Black Soil (under 5mm) ■ Lime improved soil ■ Treated mixed improved soil *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

[Quality Standards] Improved Soil "Uni-Soil"

At a material age of 24 hours, the cone index is over 800 kN/m²! It corresponds to Type 2 treated soil as indicated in the "Soil Classification Standards."

■ Cone Index (Trafficability) The figure below shows the transition of the cone index over time for the improved soil "Uni-Soil" using sludge by construction method. It can be seen that the cone index for all improved soils "Uni-Soil" exceeds 800 kN/m² at an age of 24 hours, indicating that they correspond to Type 2 treated soil as specified in the "Soil Classification Standards." This suggests that it is a high-quality civil engineering material capable of ensuring sufficient trafficability in a short period. ■ Design CBR Value The expansion ratio of the improved soil (recycled soil) "Uni-Soil" is very small, and it is considered that there is no risk of deformation or destruction of the superstructure and soil structures due to swelling. The CBR value is typically around 60%, which is very high, ensuring that the performance required for subgrade and base materials is adequately met. ■ Example of Leaching Test Results for Improved Soil "Uni-Soil" Cadmium → Below environmental standard value Hexavalent chromium → Below environmental standard value Cyanide compounds → Below environmental standard value Total mercury → Below environmental standard value Selenium → Below environmental standard value Lead → Below environmental standard value Arsenic → Below environmental standard value Fluoride → Below environmental standard value Boron → Below environmental standard value
